How to deal with a new boyfriend that is scared to get hurt due to past cheating,and liying girls?

i am now with a awesome guy but the thing about is that he and i saw each other briefly before and he disappeared out of fear of getting hurt as he got cheated,lied to.I have never been cheated so i would not know.he says that he wants to now be with me and will not be scared.i know easier said than done.I really like him.i just want to know how to go about it.

Everyone deserves a second chance. You have to understand or at least think of what he is going through put yourself in his shoes, think of what you would do if someone did that to you. So my advise is to go for it, who knows you guys might be made for each other but you will not know unless you give it a try. and if ever you dont like him anymore or you lost your interest in him, then you should tell him what you really feel, and not cheat or lie to him.. a key to a great relationship is trust.. you and your boyfriend should trust each other...
