How to deal with ';cheating';?

my boyfriend cheated on me and i recently found out. he cheated on me with my cousin. he said he was srry, he didn't know what he was thinking, and he loves me. so i forgave him, but now i feel like i made a mistake.

Yeah you did. Look he will always cheat. Guys cheat for two reasons.





1. He has no respect for the female and will continue to use them as objects for his own sexual gain.





2. A long relationship has turned to comfort and women stop putting out. So men being unhappy look outwards for sex.





I assure you it is not the second.





You should just let him know that you thought you could forgive him, but now realize you can never trust him again. Now you know that he must learn the consequences to his actions of cheating and that is by losing you. If a person cheats on someone they supposedly love, they don't really love them. If you love someone you'd avoid doing things that would hurt them and obviously that would hurt you, so he doesn't really love you. Everyone deserves to be happy and not be cheated on so you deserve so much better. Especially when he did it with your cousin. A person who cheated once might do it again. The trust is lost. It's hard and very painful, but you need to tell him he's scum for doing that. Don't forgive him cos that's basically saying ';It's okay, hunny. Just don't do it again.'; Meanwhile, he might be thinking, ';'Well, I guess I can do it again if she's going to let me still be with her. I just need to not get caught next time and choose someone she doesn't know!'; Seriously, tell him to get lost cos obviously he doesn't care enough about you to be faithful. ='[ I'm sorry, but that's the truth. i think you need to rethink the forgiveness and think about how YOU feel.

Talk it out before you forgive him! Ask him lots of questions but be understanding. If he tells you things like ';I don't know what I was thinking'; and ';It didn't mean anything'; BE SUSPICIOUS but not probing. Nice and gentle, cute but serious.

I could never get back with a man who cheated on me, especially with a family member, he knew what he was thinking, how else would he have cheated on you, unless he has no brain, but if your that in ';love'; with him, no one will persuade you other wise.
You should dump him now. Cheating on someone is bad enough, but cheating on you with a family member is terrible and you should at least be able to trust a family member. I think that in a relationship the one thing you should ask for is fidelity. Best of luck.
i personally go by the motto 'once a cheater, always a cheater' but you alone need to figure out whether or not you made the right choice. you are the one that is dating the guy.
The only thing you should question is the fact that you had to FIND OUT. He didn't tell you. Always forgive and give a second chance, if the sincerity is enough. But never a third.
In a serious relationship cheating is never acceptable. Time to tell him to take a hike.
I find it really stupid how people believe their boyfriend/girlfriend when they say they love you even when they cheated. If its love, there would be no cheating.
I would leave him. He probably will do it again. And with your cousin? Wow, that sucks. How are you and your cousin getting along now?
People know what they are going to say when they get caught cheating. It's up to you to forgive, forget, or free yourself of it.
